{"id":12248,"date":"2025-02-18T10:49:08","date_gmt":"2025-02-18T08:49:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vrfp.es\/simuladores\/aerogenerador-loto\/"},"modified":"2026-05-13T08:14:37","modified_gmt":"2026-05-13T06:14:37","slug":"wind-turbine-loto","status":"publish","type":"simuladores","link":"https:\/\/vrfp.es\/en\/simulators\/wind-turbine-loto\/","title":{"rendered":"Wind Turbine (II): Safety and LOTO Procedures"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DESCRIPTION<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This virtual reality simulator provides an opportunity to teach students about the safety measures to be observed when carrying out maintenance work on a wind turbine, such as the use of PPE and the procedures for energising and de-energising the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">OBJECTIVE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Training students in the rigorous application of safety measures and lockout\/tagout procedures, ensuring that work is carried out safely, responsibly and in accordance with regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"text-transform:none\">ACTIVITIES<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:1px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Explanation, identification and provision of PPE <\/strong>for:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Work at height.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Electrical work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hydraulic works.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Carrying out nine LOTO procedures<\/strong> to ensure safety during wind turbine maintenance:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Disconnecting and re-establishing communication with the control centre (versions 1 and 2) to prevent unintended actions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cutting off and restoring power to the medium-voltage cells, thereby interrupting the high-voltage power supply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stopping and starting the wind turbine using an HMI.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rotation of the wind turbine, and locking and unlocking of the yaw system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Locking and unlocking the rotor&#8217;s rotation by placing the blades in the flag position.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Depressurisation and pressurisation of the hydraulic system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access to the rotor, avoiding static loading of the blades.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Locking and unlocking blades for subsequent maintenance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":11769,"template":"","familias-profesionales":[],"class_list":["post-12248","simuladores","type-simuladores","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/vrfp.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/simuladores\/12248","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/vrfp.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/simuladores"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/vrfp.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/simuladores"}],"version-history":[{"count":8,"href":"https:\/\/vrfp.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/simuladores\/12248\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":19333,"href":"https:\/\/vrfp.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/simuladores\/12248\/revisions\/19333"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/vrfp.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/11769"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/vrfp.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=12248"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"familias-profesionales","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/vrfp.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/familias-profesionales?post=12248"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
