It allows users to practice skills related with assisted feeding, personal hygiene, the administration of treatments and personalised care in a realistic virtual environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">OBJECTIVE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To equip students to provide comprehensive, safe and respectful care, developing technical, communication and organisational skills in the social and healthcare sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ACTIVITIES<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Support with eating for patients with varying levels of independence.<\/strong> We provide diets adapted to clinical needs, as well as enteral feeding via a nasogastric tube, jejunostomy or gastrostomy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Personal hygiene adapted to each patient\u2019s level of dependency and mobility:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Personal hygiene for patients with reduced mobility in the shower and in an adapted bath.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hygiene for bedridden patients.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cleaning of the eyes, ears, mouth and hair; skin care; genital hygiene; washing of hands and feet; management of bodily waste; and changing of clothes and bedding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Application of basic treatment techniques<\/strong>, following the appropriate protocols, communicating effectively with the patient and recording the actions taken:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The administration of aerosol therapy and oxygen therapy through the correct use of equipment and the preparation of the necessary materials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Administration of medicines orally, topically or via enema.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The use of hot and cold therapies for therapeutic purposes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":17214,"template":"","familias-profesionales":[],"class_list":["post-12267","simuladores","type-simuladores","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/vrfp.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/simuladores\/12267","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/vrfp.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/simuladores"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/vrfp.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/simuladores"}],"version-history":[{"count":7,"href":"https:\/\/vrfp.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/simuladores\/12267\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":19399,"href":"https:\/\/vrfp.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/simuladores\/12267\/revisions\/19399"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/vrfp.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/17214"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/vrfp.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=12267"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"familias-profesionales","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/vrfp.es\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/familias-profesionales?post=12267"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
