DESCRIPTION
A simulator designed to teach the correct use of woodworking machinery, through which students learn to identify the components of a mitre saw, a table saw and a band saw, as well as the functions of each of these tools.
OBJECTIVE
Teaching how to use woodworking machinery effectively and demonstrating the most appropriate cutting techniques depending on the desired result.
ACTIVITIES
- Identifying the pieces and using a mitre saw: It allows you to make precise, angled cuts in planks and battens by adjusting the angle of the base and the tilt of the head.
- Identifying parts and using a mitre saw: Handling and cutting large wooden panels, adjusting the angle and height of the cut with millimetric precision.
- Identifying the parts and using a band saw: Step-by-step guide to adjusting and securing the machine’s rip fence for making intricate cuts and applying shaping techniques to wooden strips.
- Master builder: Projects are set in which students must plan the cuts and carry out the necessary assembly work to complete them, using the various tools and machinery available.
