DESCRIPTION
This simulator provides practical training in plumbing and heating systems, allowing students to identify components, select suitable materials, use specialist tools and carry out technical procedures for installation, maintenance and repair.
OBJECTIVE
Training students in the installation, operation and maintenance of plumbing systems and boilers, reinforcing their skills through realistic practical experience.
ACTIVITIES
- Handling plumbing tools, including the correct use of the expander, cutter, gauge and tape measure.
- Learning how to use components correctly for plumbing applications and pipework systems, working with different types of pipes, Quick & Easy sleeves and connectors.
- Installing a bathroom plumbing system using different materials depending on the water temperature and connecting fixtures such as washbasins, toilets and radiators.
- Inspection and identification of the components of a domestic boiler, carrying out all the necessary checks to ensure it is working properly.
- Carrying out boiler maintenance:
- System shutdown.
- Gas supply cut.
- Dismantling of components.
- Cleaning the inside of the heater.
- Safety check.
