DESCRIPTION
A simulator that takes place in a dental clinic where students learn to identify instruments and different teeth, as well as to diagnose the most common diseases and injuries through x-rays and odontograms.
OBJECTIVE
To teach the most common oral hygiene practices in a dental clinic, such as preparing materials or carrying out diagnostic tests.
ACTIVITIES
- Instrument preparation:
- Identification of the necessary material.
- Preparation of trays with the necessary instruments.
- Oral anatomy: Allows the structures of the oral cavity to be identified, with information about their function and characteristics.
- Dental chart: Creation of a dental chart of a mouth whose condition varies randomly.
- Practice of the technique for taking dental X-ray projections, focusing on patient safety and equipment configuration to obtain clear and accurate diagnostic images.
- Assistance to the odontostomatologist during dental procedures, such as filling a cavity, to assimilate the dynamics of treatment and patient care.
