Work at Height

DESCRIPTION

In this simulator, students must use the PPE and follow the safety protocols required for working at height. Furthermore, by simulating a fall from a great height, the experience allows participants to become familiar with the sensation of vertigo and helps to raise awareness of safety precautions in risky situations.

OBJECTIVE

To raise students’ awareness of the safety protocols required to prevent workplace risks and accidents.

ACTIVITIES

• Selection and review of PPE for various types of work at height:
  • Repair of dampness.
  • Solar panel repairs.
  • Air conditioning repairs.
  • Overhead crane maintenance.

• Ascending, carrying out the work and descending correctly:
  • The selected PPE.
  • Fall protection systems.
  • The available anchoring systems.

• Fall from a great height: It allows you to analyse the consequences of incorrect execution and reinforce preventive learning.
