DESCRIPTION
Simulator that completes the training of a health emergency technician. It recreates the diagnosis and treatment procedures that must be carried out in high-stress situations such as traffic accidents.
OBJECTIVE
To familiarize students with emergency situations that are difficult to transfer to an educational environment so that they learn to apply the different protocols of action.
ACTIVITIES
- Electrocardiogram: The students must analyze the patient’s condition and place the electrodes in the correct order to start the electrocardiogram.
- Triage: In this activity, the severity of each of the victims of a traffic accident must be classified according to their breathing, perfusion and ability to move.
- Treatments: Different emergency treatments for various injuries will be carried out before the victims of a traffic accident are transferred to a hospital.
- Hemorrhages.
- Burns.
- Fractures.
- Whiplash.
- Provision of an Advanced Life Support Ambulance (ALS): By consulting an inventory, all necessary material should be replenished and the ambulance made ready for the next emergency call.
