DESCRIPTION
A simulator designed to provide an immersive and educational experience that allows users to learn about the components of an industrial boiler and its surroundings, as well as to practice critical operating procedures.
OBJECTIVE
Providing students with a realistic environment in which to gain an in-depth understanding of an industrial steam boiler and to carry out practical exercises without the associated risks.
ACTIVITIES
- Identification and explanation of the various internal and external components that make up an industrial boiler.
- Starting up and operating an industrial boiler, with the aim of identifying potential risks and ensuring safe operation.
- Provision of PPE and identification of protective equipment.
- Preliminary inspection.
- Valve preparation.
- Review by the local panel.
- Boiler commissioning.
- Preparing the site and obtaining permission for ignition.
- Ignition of the pilot light and burner.
- Power surge in the production system.
- Monitoring and analysis of the boiler’s various operating states, identifying potential incidents and anomalies during operation.
- Carrying out assessment exercises aimed at detecting and identifying risks in the industrial environment associated with the boiler, thereby strengthening prevention and safety.
