DESCRIPTION
Simulator designed to provide an immersive and educational experience that allows users to learn about the components of an industrial boiler and its environment, as well as to practice critical operating procedures.
OBJECTIVE
To provide students with a realistic environment in which to gain in-depth knowledge of an industrial steam boiler and to carry out practical work without the risks associated with it.
ACTIVITIES
- Identification and explanation of the different internal and external components that make up an industrial boiler.
- Correct methodology for lighting and starting the industrial boiler with the aim of detecting potential risks and carrying out safe handling of the boiler.
- PPE equipment and identification of protective elements.
- Preliminary inspection.
- Valve preparation.
- Local panel check.
- Boiler level adjustment.
- Preparation of the environment and permission to ignite.
- Ignition of pilot and burner.
- Voltage increase in the production system.
- Review of boiler status and incidents during operation.
- Evaluation exercises on risk identification in the industrial environment of the boiler.
