DESCRIPTION
This training simulator allows users to practice energy isolation, lockout and control procedures in industrial settings, as well as the application of safety protocols for risk prevention during maintenance, intervention and repair work.
OBJECTIVE
Training students to apply the various LOTO procedures correctly, ensuring that work is carried out safely, responsibly and in accordance with regulations.
ACTIVITIES
- Introduction to LOTO: A practical guide to safety protocols and lockdown procedures for different types of energy: chemical, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, thermal, etc.
- Electrical connection and disconnection:
- Stopping the production process from the control PC.
- Electrical insulation.
- Blockage in the electrical cabinet.
- Identification of the facility and notification.
- Checking for absence of voltage.
- Mechanical locking and unlocking.
- Shutdown of the production process on a hydraulic press.
- Decoupling of mechanisms.
- Blocking.
