DESCRIPTION
A simulator for learning paint application techniques in different settings, allowing users to practice preparing materials, using PPE and tools, and applying paint in a controlled manner on various surfaces. This includes spray painting and airless equipment, special coatings and the calculation of paint consumption.
OBJECTIVE
To facilitate the practice of applying paint to different surfaces, taking into account various objectives, without the waste of materials that would result from carrying out the task in a real-world setting.
ACTIVITIES
- Painting in a vehicle workshop:
- Paint mixing.
- Correct use of PPE.
- Prior configuration of the spray gun: arc, direction and flow rate.
- Painting various parts of a vehicle (bumpers, wings, doors, etc.), taking into account factors such as distance, the angle of application and the speed of painting.
- Applying decorative paint in the home:
- Surface preparation: Applying masking tape to mark out the area to be painted.
- Paint preparation: Diluting and mixing acrylic paint with water.
- Application on wall: Application of painting techniques, taking into account the direction of application in each stroke.
- Protective coating in a garage:
- Work with airless equipment.
- Application of flame retardant coating: Applying several coats of product to a beam.
