DESCRIPTION
Through this simulator, students learn the procedure for manufacturing pharmaceutical products and the use of machinery, taking into account safety measures such as protective clothing.
OBJECTIVE
Raise awareness among students of the rigour required in the processes of manufacturing and storing pharmaceutical products in a safe environment.
ACTIVITIES
- Selection, verification and provision of the appropriate PPE for working in pharmaceutical environments following hygiene and safety protocols.
- Manufacture of pharmaceutical products. A process that involves mixing and compressing active ingredients and excipients to form solid tablets. The system implements strict protocols to ensure quality and regulatory compliance in the different rooms, such as weighing, mixing, compressing, coating and primary packaging.
- Secondary packaging. Secondary packaging process in boxes, blister packs or bottles, with the implementation of traceability measures to guarantee the safety and authenticity of the packaging, serial codes, inspection, labeling and logistics.
