DESCRIPTION
This simulator includes all the tasks that must be carried out for maintenance in a medium and low voltage transformation center, placing special emphasis on the meticulousness of the protocol and the security measures that must be taken into account during the process.
OBJECTIVE
To teach the steps to follow for the maintenance of a medium voltage transformation center and to raise awareness about the safety measures to be taken into account.
ACTIVITIES
- Maintenance tasks in a medium voltage transformation center:
- Selection of PPE and equipment.
- Communication with the Control Center to carry out the power cut.
- Grounding of the medium voltage cells.
- Access to the transformer.
- Checking the voltage of the transformer.
- Connection of portable grounds to the transformer.
- Maintenance of the electrical cabinet.
- Cleaning the circuit breakers.
- Adjusting the screws on the circuit breakers.
- Restoring the connection.
- Tidying and cleaning the transformer substation.
- Dismantling and replacing the transformer in a low voltage cell.
- Preparing the work area.
- Interrupting and verifying the power cut.
- Intervention in the transformer room:
- Removal of damaged panels.
- Familiarization with the components of the transformer.
- Connection of the new transformer.
