DESCRIPTION
This simulator focuses on training students in the process that must be carried out to take x-rays, CAT scans and MRIs.
OBJECTIVE
To facilitate the practice of the procedures to be carried out for the realization of different diagnostic tests, avoiding the cost of real equipment and eliminating the risk factor.
ACTIVITIES
- X-rays:
- Reception and validation of the patient by means of documentation and forms.
- Taking of table and wall x-rays.
- Precise positioning according to the area to be studied.
- Alignment of the x-ray tube and adjustment of parameters.
- Acquisition of images from the console room.
- CT scan:
- Reception and validation of the patient by means of documentation and forms.
- Preparation and positioning of the patient on the table.
- Alignment of the patient using a laser.
- Selection and configuration of the appropriate protocol.
- Repository of medical images and possibility of carrying out different exercises in each execution.
- Magnetic Resonance:
- Reception and validation of the patient by means of documentation and forms.
- Application of the protocol from the preparation of the patient to the configuration of the equipment.
- Selection of parameters according to the anatomical location.
- Simulation of different clinical cases with patients of different ages, weights and conditions.
