DESCRIPTION
Simulator aimed at training nursing assistants that allows the practice of techniques and procedures that are difficult to carry out in an educational environment, such as support for ingestion, the administration of treatments and personal hygiene for patients.
OBJECTIVE
To teach, in a realistic way, the procedures and good practices in the work of a nursing assistant.
ACTIVITIES
- Supporting the intake of different types of patients.
- Administrative tasks.
- Hygiene and sanitary measures.
- Enteral and parenteral feeding.
- Feeding via a nasogastric tube.
- Personal hygiene:
- Partial and full bathing techniques.
- Washing hair, mouth and teeth.
- Nail cutting.
- Putting on diapers or panties with a support mesh.
- Collecting and eliminating urine and stool samples.
- Treatments:
- Hot and cold application methods.
- Administering drugs through different routes and enemas.
- Aerosol therapy and oxygen therapy treatment techniques.
