DESCRIPTION
The simulator introduces students to the most common incidents in industrial plants and the appropriate strategies for preventing or resolving them correctly. Through decision-making and the implementation of corrective measures, we help to create a safe working environment that complies with safety standards.
OBJECTIVE
Teaching participants how to identify, assess and address the various risk factors in industrial plants, and providing training in best practice safety procedures.
ACTIVITIES
- The simulator presents 18 incidents related with workplace safety and the appropriate measures for resolving them correctly. These situations stem from various issues:
- Incorrect positioning of the material.
- Cleanliness and tidiness.
- Incorrect use of, or failure to wear, PPE.
- Items in poor condition.
- Use of inappropriate tools.
- Wearing inappropriate clothing.
- Blocked emergency exits and obstacles.
- Use of unsuitable spaces when carrying out tasks.
- In assessment mode, students must identify and resolve issues without assistance to demonstrate what they have learned.
