DESCRIPTION
In this simulator, students must take into account the PPE and safety protocols necessary for working at height. In addition, thanks to the simulation of a fall from a great height, the experience makes them familiar with the feeling of vertigo.
OBJECTIVE
Teaching how to identify dangerous elements and how to select the appropriate PPE for different work at height tasks, as well as raising awareness of the safety protocols necessary to avoid risks.
ACTIVITIES
- Selection and review of PPE for different jobs at height:
- Repairing damp.
- Repairing solar panels.
- Repairing air conditioning.
- Maintaining a bridge crane.
- Climbing, carrying out the work and descending correctly using:
- The selected PPE.
- The fall protection systems.
- The available anchoring systems.
- Falling from a great height. Depending on whether they have completed the exercise correctly, the students will fall or be saved.
