DESCRIPTION
A simulator designed to teach the operation, maintenance and integration of the UR5 robotic arm in industrial settings, allowing users to familiarise themselves with its components, axes, safety systems and applications in palletising processes.
OBJECTIVE
Training students in the operation, maintenance and installation of industrial robotic arms, developing technical and safety skills for application in real-world production environments.
ACTIVITIES
- Identification and functions of the components of the UR5 robotic arm and an explanation of its six axes, allowing an understanding of the different movements it can perform:
- Tool tip.
- Base of the tool.
- Maintenance operations:
- Checking the safety circuit.
- Cleaning the robot and the filters.
- Replacement of damaged parts.
- Fastening of screws and connecting bolts.
- Emergency stop, reverse and free-running tests.
- Replacement of seals: Includes dismantling, cable management, fitting a new joint and reassembly.
- Installation and assembly of the palletising solution: Assembly, connection and commissioning of the robot in an industrial environment.
- Palletising and maintenance in an industrial setting: Preparation of materials and observation of the palletising process, incorporating diagnostic and maintenance scenarios.
