DESCRIPTION
This simulator allows students to carry out different operations with collaborative robots in a safe, flexible and easy way to learn how to automate and optimize industrial processes.
OBJECTIVE
Working on learning about the different components of a robotic arm, its configuration, programming and monitoring, as well as activities related to a complex cell.
ACTIVITIES
- Identification and functions of the components of the UR5 robotic arm and explanation of its 6 axes, allowing students to understand the different types of movement:
- Tool tip.
- Tool base.
- Maintenance Operations:
- Checking the electrical safety circuit.
- Cleaning the robot and filters.
- Replacing damaged parts.
- Fastening screws and connecting bolts.
- Emergency stop, reverse and free movement tests.
- Procedure for replacing joints: Includes disassembly, cable management, installation of a new joint and reassembly of components.
