DESCRIPTION

This simulator covers food preparation, quality management, and food safety and hygiene – key elements designed to ensure excellence in food and beverage service.

OBJECTIVE

Acquiring knowledge and skills in food safety and hygiene practices with the aim of preventing contamination and ensuring food safety.

ACTIVITIES

  • Personal preparation: Training on the importance of correct handwashing procedures, the proper fitting of personal protective equipment and the implementation of personal safety measures when handling food, reinforcing professional and preventive practices.
  • Safe food handling: Training in the proper handling of various types of produce, such as meat, fish, vegetables and dairy products, applying principles of separation, storage and monitoring to prevent crosscontamination and ensure food safety.
  • Cleaning and disinfection: The use of appropriate techniques to clean work surfaces, utensils and equipment effectively, ensuring optimal hygiene standards in professional food-handling environments.
