DESCRIPTION
This simulator immerses students in technical tasks related to the management and repair of advanced electrical systems, taking into account the safety measures that must be taken in the
processes.
OBJECTIVE
To teach how to identify and replace faulty components in inverters and converters, and how to analyze substations.
ACTIVITIES
- Work on a converter:
- Identification of the different components of the converter.
- Overvoltage protection, heating resistor and input circuit breaker panel.
- Replacement of the E1 heating resistor: Handling of the UPS, checks that there is no voltage and opening of switches for a risk-free replacement of the heating resistor.
- Replacing circuit breaker F39: Disconnection, locking and checking for the absence of voltage in the cell, opening circuit breakers and checking voltages in the machine.
- Maintenance in electrical substation: Process of taking oil samples and thermographic analysis in a substation, applying techniques to evaluate and ensure its correct functioning.
