DESCRIPTION
The simulator shows students the most common incidents that occur in industrial plants and how to correctly resolve or prevent them. In short, the necessary corrective actions must be taken to provide a safe workspace.
OBJECTIVE
To teach how to identify, evaluate and solve the different risk factors in industrial plants, and to train in good practices to be carried out in terms of safety.
ACTIVITIES
- Eighteen safety incidents are shown, along with how to resolve them. The causes of the incidents have their origin in different problems:
- Improper placement of material.
- Cleanliness and tidiness.
- Incorrect use or absence of PPE.
- Elements in poor condition.
- Use of inappropriate tools.
- Use of inappropriate clothing.
- Blocking of emergency exits and obstacles.
- Use of unsuitable spaces for carrying out tasks.
- In evaluation mode, students must identify and resolve incidents to demonstrate what they have learned.
